How can we have constructive dialogue in these troubled and divisive times?

Hello, I’m Weldon Lam.

I’m a 2nd year student in Master of Social Work at York College, a CUNY institution located in Jamaica Queens. I’m the host of Positive Conversations – a show where we explore the question – “How can we have constructive dialogue in these troubled and divisive times?”

This show is one of discovery.  The discovery of self - our selves and of others, our communities, and of the society we live in. We will examine how the different aspects of our individual selves relate to each other, as well as how they relate to the wider community of humanity. In doing so, we will touch on topics of psychology, philosophy, sociology, social work, current events and current policies.

The show seeks to bring these understandings together at a table for positive conversations in our divided and divisive times.
